Irenes, the mermaid from Chrono Cross.

Oy, this was bloody hell to do. Took me more hours than I care to think about. I actually drew the sketch almost a year ago, scanned it in, and never colored it. Picked it up again 2 weeks ago and here's the result. :p (Lick) It was quite a learning process for me, experimenting with new things/styles (like the rocks and water), and the things I spent the least amount of time on look better than things I slaved over. Like that little flame thingie, I only drew it to distract from her hand, because it wasn't rendered especially well. But I ended up making it a spinoff on the game's Frozen Flame. But it took 15 minutes and I think it looks pretty cool for that.

Nothing much else to say for that, except that it's enough CGing for a while. And I've got another huge project planned too. ::dies::

Thank you so much for commenting on Irenes. It means a lot to me because I feel this is a piece that I worked very hard on, but for some reason, no one likes very much. ^_^;

Oh how lovely this be. My eyes would probably bleed if you did Riddel or Steena or some of me other favorite characters from that game. I'mma go now before I rant. Ta :winner:

Ooh, well, who are your other favorite characters? ^^ I absolutely adore all the Chrono Cross chara designs. It's one of my fav games. ;_; It's so wonderful.

Welp, some of me other faves are Guile, Karsh and Glenn. Then there's that dwarf lady with the copy or doppleganger ability or whatever it's supposed to be called. I love doing that :D

Ooh, that dwark lady is cool, but she's a tad ugly. I love Glenn! I want to marry him one day. I also loved Norris. My fav chara designs were... Hmm. Irenes (obviously :P), Pierre, Neofio, Harle (i LOVE Harle), Niki, Miki, and naked Serge.

There's something about a mermaid with a German acsent that is interesting. Too bad the game had so many continuity errors.

I still loved Chrono Cross more than Trigger. I know that's sacrilege, but I really don't like akira toriyama's artwork and it annoyed me to have to look at it so much.
